Acronis still maintains legacy binaries for paying enterprise customers. Here’s how to access them:
Step 1: Log into your Acronis account at https://account.acronis.com.
Step 2: Navigate to Products → Legacy Downloads.
Step 3: Look for “Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5” (not “Advanced” or “Virtual Edition” unless applicable).
Step 4: Select the correct build – the last stable build is 11.5.44598 (released February 2017).
If you see an “AMP” or “&” in the filename after download, rename the file manually to replace & with &. For example:
Acronis_Backup_&_Recovery_11.5.exe → Acronis_Backup_&_Recovery_11.5.exe
Why this works: The encoding error confuses Windows installer engines. The “fixed” part is simply restoring the proper ampersand. acronis backup amp recovery 115 download fixed
Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 is a significantly outdated version. It was designed for Windows Server 2008/2012 and older operating systems.
