The Event Experience: BE2 does not rely on a "railroaded" story (where history happens exactly as written). Instead, it uses events to provide Historical Immersion.
Verdict: If you want a game that feels like a polished Paradox Interactive title, BE2 is the best choice. Its events serve as the glue holding the complex mechanics together.
