Beyond official patches, the IAAM (Ich Mag Anno Mod) and the Unofficial Patch (often called the “Anno 1404 History Edition Patch”) fixed additional scenario issues:

There is a persistent rumor about a secret sixth scenario called "The Northern Mandate." This was a pre-order bonus mission from 2009 that never received official patch support. It is not included in the History Edition or any current patched version. If you see references to it online, they refer to an unpatched, unstable mod—not official content.

In the unpatched version, spies failed 80% of the time. In "The Secret Society," train a spy from your tavern (cost: 50 gold, 5 tools) and send them via your marketplace – success rate is now a stable 65%.
