Apt Sangam Tamil Fonts Install May 2026

Ubuntu's repositories contain multiple Tamil font packages. You can install them all at once:

sudo apt install fonts-lohit-tamil fonts-taml-* fonts-sil-andika

Ensure the font is enabled (a checkmark next to it). You can now use it in Pages, Word, or any design app. apt sangam tamil fonts install
