Confirm:

copy tftp flash <tftp-server-ip> <filename.swi> primary

Downloading from third-party Sites (like random FTP servers or file-sharing sites) is dangerous. Only use official HPE/Aruba channels.

  • For stacked switches or fabric: upgrade sequence matters (follow vendor stacking/fabric upgrade instructions to avoid outages).

    • Aruba, now part of HPE, has a unified support portal. There is no third-party or torrent site for legitimate firmware. Using unofficial sources is a security risk.
