Autodesk Recap 2020 Work May 2026

Title: Need help with Autodesk Recap 2020 work – registration errors

Hi everyone,

I’m working on a project in Recap 2020 (build 6.0.0.47). When trying to register scans from a Faro Focus, I keep getting “Insufficient overlap” even though visually they overlap ~30%.

What I’ve tried:

Has anyone solved this in Recap 2020 specifically? Is there a hidden tolerance setting? Downgrading to 2019 or upgrading to 2022+ not possible due to client requirements.
