Weeks later, a storm unlike any Bangara had seen approached—a thick, black cloud that swallowed the sun and threatened to flood the town. The river swelled, and panic rose among the villagers. The mayor called upon all the town’s leaders, but no plan seemed to work.

Srinivas, remembering the golden shawl’s hum, gathered the townspeople at the riverbank. He unrolled the golden cloak and placed it over the water’s edge. As the wind howled, the cloak began to glow brighter, and a gentle, rhythmic thrum resonated from its threads. The golden threads seemed to rise, forming a luminous barrier that slowed the surge of water.

The people, inspired by his calm confidence, joined hands, forming a living chain around the cloak. Together, they sang an old folk song of Bangara—“Bangara S O Bangarada Manushya”—the words echoing hope and unity. The storm, confronted by the collective spirit of the town, weakened. By dawn, the clouds lifted, and the sun returned, casting a rainbow over the now tranquil river.

From that day on, the legend of Bangara S O Bangarada Manushya became more than a story—it became a living reminder that when a community stitches its hearts together, no darkness can stay forever.
