It’s been a few months since Blasphemous 2 dropped its pixelated, gore-soaked glory on the Nintendo Switch. And while the base NSP (1.0.0) was absolutely playable, anyone deep into the Miracle knew: performance in certain areas (looking at you, Choir of Thorns) and a few soft-locks were testing our devotion a bit too much.
But the latest update – let’s call it v1.2.0 (or later, depending on your source) – has changed the game. Literally.

Applying the Blasphemous 2 NSP UPDATE (v1.0.4) is a net positive, but awareness is key.
The Good: Load times have been reduced by roughly 2 seconds when respawning at a Prie Dieu. The game no longer soft-locks when using the "Verdiales of the Forsaken Hamlet" resonance.
The Caveat: Some users on the scene have reported that if you are using a specific "base" NSP from launch day (Scene Release: P2P), applying the v1.0.4 update without also updating your firmware to 16.1.0 (or higher) results in a "corrupted data" error. Ensure your Sigpatches are up to date.
