Ecu Pinout - Bosch M7

Advanced tuners bypass the pinout completely by using boot mode (joining two specific pins on the ECU board). This allows direct read/write of the internal flash memory. This requires soldering and is not for beginners.

| Parameter | Oscilloscope Setting | Expected Pattern | |--------------------|--------------------------------|--------------------------------| | CKP (32 – GND) | 50V/div, 10ms/div | 58 teeth, 1 missing pair | | Injector (16–27) | 20V/div, 2ms/div, DC coupling | Battery voltage → 0V pulse | | Ignition logic (31)| 5V/div, 10µs/div | 5V pulse before spark | | K‑Line (68 – GND) | 20V/div, 200µs/div, triggering | 0–12V data bursts (init: 25ms low) | Bosch M7 Ecu Pinout

The ECU uses a Tyco / AMP 81-pin connector (usually 3 rows of 27 pins).
Rows (viewed from wiring harness side, latch at top): Advanced tuners bypass the pinout completely by using
