The R19 library is famous for being extensive but curated. Unlike modern asset browsers that rely on heavy, high-poly scans, the R19 library focuses on parametric efficiency.

Fix: Go to Edit → Preferences → Content Libraries. Click “Add Library” and manually navigate to the .lib4d file. Then restart.
Once you have the official .lib4d files, you need to place them in the correct folder manually. Cinema 4D R19 does not always auto-detect them. Fix: Contact Maxon support directly via their help desk
Fix: Those are placeholder icons. Apply a material from the material library or create a new default material (double-click in Material Manager) and drag it onto the primitive.
