Inside the folder, you will find:

Offset 0x00-0x03: 44 53 44 53  ("DSDS" - Dead Space Data Stream)
Offset 0x04-0x07: Version (0x01 0x00 0x00 0x00)

Cause: Mismatched SteamID64 folder or Profile.dat mismatch. dead space remake save file

Fix:
Ensure the save files are in the folder matching your current Steam ID. If you changed accounts, rename the old folder to the new ID. Inside the folder, you will find: Offset 0x00-0x03:
