While SCS Software has moved on to v1.49+ with convoy mode (multiplayer) and Iberia DLC, v1.31 remains a goldmine for budget players and modders.
If you want to drive a 1970s V8 Scania across Romania with a fully owned cistern trailer, v1.31 is perfect. If you want to play online with friends in Madrid, you need the Steam version.
