Fanuc 9000 Parameters List May 2026
Turn the mode selector switch to MDI (Manual Data Input).
Fanuc controls are sold with "options" (e.g., Tool Offset Measurement, Coordinate System Rotation, Custom Macro B). Historically, these were turned on via bit parameters in the 9000 series. fanuc 9000 parameters list
Modern Fanuc Controls (0i-F, 30i, 31i): Fanuc stopped using simple parameters to turn options on/off to prevent piracy. Now, options are activated via a "System Option File" installed by Fanuc or the Machine Tool Builder. However, the configuration bits still exist in the 9000 range to fine-tune how those options work. Turn the mode selector switch to MDI (Manual Data Input)
Example (Illustrative):
| Parameter | Bit | Function | Description | |-----------|-----|----------|-------------| | 9002 | 0 | Software travel limit 2 | Additional stroke limits | | 9002 | 1 | Safe speed limit | Override clamp | | 9003 | 0 | Door lock interlock | Safety PLC integration | | 9004 | 0 | Password protection for parameters | Prevents unauthorized changes | | Parameter | Bit | Function | Description
Unlike standard parameters that adjust axis gains, backlash compensation, or I/O assignments, the 9000 series parameters act as software option switches.
Think of your FANUC control as a smartphone. The hardware is capable of 100 functions, but you only pay for the apps you need. The 9000 parameters are the "on/off" switches that unlock those apps.
