It didn't have the computational power to simulate every single suspension link, so it relied on blunt-force feedback. In a modern racing game, you drive on the track. In the original Forza, you drive through the track. The XISO experience reminds you that driving a 400HP muscle car should be a violent, terrifying experience, not a gentle cruise through a photo-realistic postcard.
