If all the above fail, Zadig is a powerful backup tool that installs a generic WinUSB or libusb driver. This method is especially useful for programming software that uses direct USB access (like NeoProgrammer or flashrom).

Steps:

  • In the target driver field (right side), select WinUSB. (You can also try libusb-win32 if WinUSB fails).
  • Click the large Install Driver button (or Replace Driver if one exists).
  • Wait for the installation to complete.
  • Once done, close Zadig. Your EZP2019 should now be recognized by low-level programming software.
  • Note: After using Zadig, your EZP2019 may no longer appear as a COM port, but it will function perfectly for BIOS flashing. This is the most straightforward method for 90% of users
