I navigated to my GTA V installation folder (typically SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V). I didn't back up the whole thing, but I did make a copy of the specific folders QuantV touches: the update folder and the x64 folder.
If Quantv reappears after a reboot or uninstall, you are likely dealing with a reinstallation trigger – often from another parent program.
