You cannot just double-click IGI2.exe and see these servers. Here is the exclusive method to make this list work for you:
Step 1: Install IGI 2 correctly
Ensure you have version 1.3 or 1.4. The GOG version works best. Avoid cracked versions from 2004—they lack the Direct IP module.
Step 2: Open the console
Launch the game. Go to Multiplayer -> Join Game. Do not look for a list. Click Direct IP Connection. igi 2 multiplayer servers list exclusive
Step 3: Input the data Take the IP addresses from our exclusive list above. Enter the IP and the Port (if different from 23073).
Step 4: The Password wall Many private servers run with a rotating password to prevent griefers. While the IPs listed are public, the exclusive passwords change weekly. You cannot just double-click IGI2

To get onto an "exclusive" server, you had to perform a sacred ritual that modern gamers would laugh at: If you saw "Awaiting gamestate
If you saw "Awaiting gamestate..." for more than 10 seconds, you were out. That was the "exclusive" filter.
Public trackers like GameRanger are great, but they are slow. They add a relay latency of 100ms+ even if you live next door to the host. Worse, the public IGI 2 lobby is filled with "ghost rooms"—lobbies created by bots.
Our exclusive list comes from live network sweeps. We literally pinged every IP range associated with IGI 2 multiplayer over the last 30 days. The five servers above are the only ones with consistent player bases (minimum 4 players daily).
