InDoWord Tamil is a Windows 10-compatible input and typing tool for Tamil language, providing keyboards, transliteration, and word-processing support to type Tamil text easily in any Windows application.
The biggest selling point of Indoword is its adherence to the standard Tamil typewriter layout (commonly known as the Anjal or Renganathan style). If you are transitioning from a hardware Tamil keyboard, you won’t need to relearn anything.
Indoword defaults to a legacy TSCII font (e.g., "Mylai"). For modern Unicode, download and install Indoword Unicode version or map your output to "Latha" or "Nirmala UI."
Tip: To type in web browsers, set your webpage encoding to UTF-8 and use a Unicode-compatible font.
