The printer shows as “Offline”

Troubleshooting (macOS)
This is where most users get stuck. Your printer works, but the text is tiny or off-center because the page size is wrong.
Apple’s strict driver signing makes this trickier. The printer will not work with standard AirPrint. Install Driver Xprinter Xp-d4601b
Troubleshooting Mac: If the printer prints raw code, you selected the wrong protocol. Delete the printer, re-add, and choose "Software" or "Generic PCL" as a fallback.
