Install Msi True Color -

If MSI Center fails, manually download the driver package. This is the most reliable method for a clean install MSI True Color without bloatware.

Steps:

Extract the ZIP file.

Right-click the Setup.exe file → Run as Administrator.

Follow the wizard (accept terms, choose install location).

Do not launch immediately. Restart your PC first.

Pro tip: On some business laptops (Summit, Prestige series), True Color is bundled inside the “MSI Display Control” driver. Download that instead. Install Msi True Color

If you select a mode but the screen looks the same:

Starting 2021, MSI distributes True Color as a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app. This method is the cleanest but requires pre-installed drivers. If MSI Center fails, manually download the driver package

Solution:

Modern versions of True Color require the MSI Foundation Service. To get this: Extract the ZIP file

Warning: Windows Update often overwrites custom color profiles. Disable automatic driver updates from Windows Settings temporarily during installation.

Once installed, using the software is straightforward.
