Forest Pack Lite is a free, reduced-functionality version of the popular scattering tool. It is bundled for free with many third-party vegetation libraries (such as Laubwerk, Maxtree, and HQPlants).

Do you need a license code for Lite? Generally, no. Lite is automatically unlocked when the full Pro version isn't present. However, if the installer asks for a code, you can use the FREE code available on the Itoo website (often listed as "FP Lite Code" on their Free Downloads page). This code is not tied to a user account.

When you upgrade, you do not get a new code. Instead, your existing license code is upgraded in Itoo’s database. You do not need to re-enter the code; the License Manager will detect the new permissions upon refreshing.

Cause: Driver corruption or USB port power issues. Fix: Reinstall the Sentinel LDK drivers (located in the Itoo installation directory). Avoid using USB hubs.
