Krystal Swift Aka Crystal Swift - Untitled -28.... Page
Searching “Krystal Swift” on SoundCloud yields no verified artist as of mid-2026. However, archived links from 2018–2022 (via the Wayback Machine) show a user named krystalswiftbeats who uploaded 30 tracks, then deleted their account. One track was literally called untitled-28.mp3. The audio was a lo-fi ambient piano loop with reversed reverb – typical of bedroom producers.
Why deleted? Possibly due to copyright sample issues or personal rebranding.
A digital painter with the handle Crystal-Swift-Art posted “Untitled -28” in 2019 – a surreal portrait of a woman with glass shards for hair. The piece was part of a 100-day challenge (day 28). The artist has since moved to Cara or Artgram. Krystal Swift aka Crystal Swift - Untitled -28....
The “-28” suffix is unusual. In creative works, numbers after “Untitled” can mean:
Hyphenated numbers like “-28” appear in leaked file naming conventions. For example, an artist might export a project as Untitled_28_Final_v3.wav. If a fan renames it without the original metadata, the “-28” remains. Hyphenated numbers like “-28” appear in leaked file
Thus, “Krystal Swift - Untitled -28” is likely one specific audio or visual file numbered 28 in an untitled series.
What complicates matters is Krystal/Crystal’s refusal to authenticate the piece. When reached by encrypted message (her preferred contact method involves carrier pigeon emojis and a P.O. box in Reykjavik), her automated reply simply read: “The work is either 28 seconds of silence or a photograph of nothing. You choose.” like the void
This is, of course, infuriating. It is also brilliant.
Untitled -28… does not want to be understood. It wants to be felt. The negative number evokes loss before loss has occurred. The ellipsis promises a conclusion that never arrives. And the dual name—Krystal with a K, Crystal with a C—reminds us that the artist, like the void, is both hard and clear, broken and whole.
