The LCPT mod introduces three primary piston-based components: lovely craft piston trap mod

Difficulty: Intermediate The Setup: Build a 3x3 room. The ceiling is made of 9 Lovely Pistons pointing down, camouflaged as stone. Place a Lovely Pressure Plate (invisible) in the center of the floor. The Mechanism: Step on the plate -> A redstone tick delay of 40 ticks (2 seconds) -> The ceiling pistons extend, crushing anything below. Pro Tip: Use the "Silent Mode" upgrade on the pistons. The victim will hear their own footsteps and nothing else until the ceiling instantly fills the room.

Lovely Craft emphasizes beautiful builds. You don't want ugly cobblestone murder holes ruining your cottage-core aesthetic. Piston traps are perfect because they are invisible. When inactive, a piston trap looks like a normal wall, floor, or bookshelf.

Primary Uses:

Building a trap using this mod requires a shift in mindset from "building a machine" to "building an illusion." The ceiling pistons extend

The Setup: Instead of the classic "hole in the ground," the Lovely Craft Piston Trap is often used for horizontal displacement.

This horizontal push is often more effective than a trapdoor because players instinctively look down for traps; they rarely expect the wall to shove them.

A downward-facing piston that, when activated by a daylight sensor or tripwire, extends a honey block downward. The honey block slows falling mobs to zero fall damage and adheres them to the piston face. A secondary pulse retracts the piston, dropping the mob onto a pre-placed "Snug Cushion" (a new wool slab block).
