Dogoggorri yeroo baay’e kitaabota 66 kanatti mul’atu:

Macaafa Qulqulluu jechuun afaan Oromoo keessatti “The Holy Bible” jechuudha. “66” ergaan isaa kitaabota Kiristaanaa walitti qabaman 66 ta’an akka ibsuuf itti fayyadama — kana jechuun deebii kiristaanaa Wangeela Gamtaa (Protestant) irratti hundaa’eedha. Itti aanan gabaabinaan qindaa’e:

The number 66 is significant because it represents the Protestant canon. (It is worth noting that the Catholic Bible includes additional books known as the Apocrypha, totaling 73 books, while the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Bible—widely used in Ethiopia and among Oromo communities—contains an even larger canon, including books like Henok (Enoch) and Jubilees).

However, the 66-book canon is universally recognized by Protestant churches as the inspired, authoritative Word of God.

Gareen Macaafa Qulqulluu qoratuuf, kitaabni 66 upd kun waan kennu;

Regardless of the number of books, the Macaafa Qulqulluu has a single, unified story: Waan Waaqayyo namaaf godhe (What God has done for humanity). From the promise in Qulqulluu (Genesis) to the restoration in Mul’ata (Revelation), the Bible points to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
