B) Anxious (why does he have 12 apples?)
C) Mathematically irrelevant (the real question: who cares about Johnny?)
Answer: C – but the correct subtraction is 8 apples left.

The LOL:

Practice: Find the missing side, then write a noir one-liner. “She was a 3-4-5 triangle, but her angles were all wrong.”

The Setup: Algebra is just a soap opera. You have unknown variables, hidden relationships, and a lot of drama.

The LOL Example:

The Lesson: Solving for X is like detective work. Imagine you have a crime scene:

3x + 5 = 20

In normal math, you subtract 5, divide by 3, and get x=5. Boring. math lol lessons
