If you don’t have the physical copy:
If the spin tub makes a grinding sound, the bottom bearing is failing. Do not disassemble yourself unless you have bearing pullers. Instead, buy a replacement K50 spin basket assembly (costs ~$40). The K50 typically has two separate light sources
Because the K50 uses mechanical timers, it does not display "E1" or "E4" errors. Instead, specific physical symptoms occur.
| Symptom | Likely Cause | Solution | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | Machine won't turn on | Outlet dead, internal fuse blown, or timer stuck mid-cycle | Test outlet with a phone charger. Rotate timers back to "0" then forward. | | Wash agitator moves slowly | Overload or bad capacitor | Remove half the clothes. If still slow, replace the start capacitor ($10 part). | | Spin tub makes violent banging | Unbalanced load | Stop immediately. Open lids. Redistribute clothes evenly. Spin only 3 items at a time. | | Water leaks from bottom | Drain hose cracked or tub seal failed | Check rear hose first. If dry, the internal wash shaft seal is broken – requires professional repair. | | Spinner won't spin at all | Broken belt or lid switch failure | Remove the back panel (4 screws). If belt is loose or snapped, replace with a 200mm belt. Bypass lid switch only for testing. | | Burning rubber smell | Belt slipping | Stop. Let motor cool for 30 minutes. Reduce load size permanently. | Reading Lamp / Side Lantern (Warm LED):
