Mppolice Portal Updated May 2026
Since the launch of the updated portal, user feedback has highlighted a few teething problems. Here’s how to resolve them:
| Issue | Solution | | :--- | :--- | | “Old complaint history not visible” | Historical data (pre-2023) is being migrated in batches. Contact the local cyber cell via the portal’s Helpdesk to retrieve old records. | | “OTP not received” | Check if your mobile number is correctly entered. Also, ensure you have not previously blocked SMS from shortcodes. Use the “Resend OTP” button after 30 seconds. | | “Unable to upload PDF/Aadhaar” | Max file size is 5 MB. Supported formats: PDF, JPEG, PNG. Convert large files using the portal’s built-in compressor tool. | | “FIR status shows ‘Pending at SHO’” | This means the Station House Officer is reviewing your complaint. If it remains pending for over 7 days, escalate via the “Grievance” tab. |
While the desktop version is fully responsive, the MP Police recommends using the MP e-Police Saksham App (Version 4.0 or higher) for a better mobile experience. The app has been updated alongside the web portal. Key app features include: mppolice portal updated
