Mq135 Gas Sensor Library — For Proteus Download Upd Work

Proteus locks library files when running. Close the software before copying any new files.

This is where most people fail. You need to refresh Proteus’s component database.

Method A: Using a provided UPD Batch file mq135 gas sensor library for proteus download upd work

Method B: Manual UPD using Proteus itself

Method C: Manual Registry Refresh (For old versions) Proteus locks library files when running

There are two reliable sources (as of 2026):

Real MQ135 sensors have a heating coil (requires 150-200mA). In Proteus, add a resistor (33Ω, 2W) between VCC and the sensor’s H pins to simulate power consumption. Method B: Manual UPD using Proteus itself

Many hobbyists have created simulation models. The most reliable one is from “Gravitech” or “Mikroelectronica” style models.

Recommended file names to search for:

Note: In simulation, the analog output voltage varies from 0V (clean air) to ~4.2V (high gas concentration).

  • Search: Open Proteus ISIS, open the component picker, and search for "MQ135".
  • Simulate: Place the component. You will usually see a virtual potentiometer attached. Move the wiper of the potentiometer during the simulation to simulate a change in gas concentration.
