This is the biggest win. The original Supra, RX-7, or 350Z look like origami compared to modern games. Redux 2.0 replaces the mesh files with high-poly conversion models ripped from Forza or Shift 2 (legally reverse-engineered). You can now see the stitching on the seats, the brake calipers clipping through the rims, and the carbon fiber weave on aftermarket hoods. If you want even more, combine Redux 2
The original game used a very aggressive bloom (glow) effect that washed out details. Redux 2.0 remasters this by using HDR lighting principles. Neon signs pop, but you can still read the text on them. The underglow from your car now casts a colored tint onto the ground and the cars around you. When you hit a nitrous boost in a tunnel, the screen flares, but the dark corners of the alleyway remain truly dark—requiring you to actually use your high beams. This is the biggest win
