Ppvm Video Player
Out of the box, PPVM supports a wide range of containers and codecs. This includes:

| Video lags/stutters | Enable DXVA hardware acceleration (see 4.1) or reduce renderer to EVR. |
| No sound on MKV | Check audio track (Alt+A). Preferences → Audio → Passthrough → Disable all passthrough. |
| Subtitles not showing | Right-click → Subtitles → Show Subtitles (check). Or rename .srt/.ass same as video file. |
| Green/pink screen on HEVC | Update GPU driver or change video renderer to Direct3D 11. |
| HDR looks washed out | Use MPC Video Renderer (install external) or enable Windows HDR + PotPlayer HDR passthrough. |
| Can’t play YouTube URL | Install yt-dlp, then set Preferences → General → URL player → yt-dlp path. | ppvm video player
