GoldHEN loads via the PS4 web browser. Corrupted cache causes the "Out of Memory" error.

This method temporarily "tricks" the PS4 into thinking it's updating the system, but it actually loads the exploit.

  • Connect the PS4 controller via USB cable.
  • In the Safe Mode menu, select option 3. Update System Software.
  • Select Update from USB Storage Device.
  • If done correctly, the screen will go black, and you will see text on the screen regarding the update. Press the PS Button on your controller.
  • If successful: The screen will flash white, and GoldHEN will load.

  • Copy goldhen.bin to the root of the USB drive.
