The island is not a paradise. It is a purgatorial labyrinth where the physical manifestations of the inhabitants' past traumas come to life. The protagonist must navigate social dynamics with other survivors—a mix of criminals, socialites, and the resort staff—all while managing hunger, sanity, and the creeping sensation that the island itself is judging them. If you have exactly 7 Regret Points at the end of Day 3, the storm reveals a strange symbol. This triggers an extra lore dump and hints at the game's true antagonist. This is the current version's "true ending" content.
Previously, the lighthouse was a static background object. In this update, it becomes fully explorable. Players can now access the basement, where they meet a reclusive character named Morwen. Without spoiling too much, Morwen is not listed in the original character roster. She offers a deal: help her maintain the signal light in exchange for the truth about the island’s psychic properties. Her path is brutally difficult, requiring specific dialogue choices from previous chapters.
