The name says it all: "Rendez Vous" (Appointment). The clinic has revolutionized the often-frustrating process of scheduling medical imaging. Gone are the days of waiting weeks for a slot or enduring endless phone queues.
Objective:
To evaluate the clinical impact and educational value of the monthly Rendez-Vous Radiologie Clinique de Lanjou TOP (RRC Lanjou TOP) meetings, focusing on diagnostic accuracy, therapeutic changes, and trainee confidence. rendez vous radiologie clinique de lanjou top
Materials and Methods:
A retrospective review of 156 consecutive cases presented between January 2023 and December 2024 at the RRC Lanjou TOP sessions. Each session included a blinded initial radiological interpretation, multidisciplinary discussion (radiology, oncology, gastroenterology, pulmonology), final consensus diagnosis, and management changes. Pre- and post-meeting surveys assessed referring physician confidence and trainee learning outcomes. The name says it all: "Rendez Vous" (Appointment)
Results:
Consensus reading changed the primary radiological diagnosis in 31% (48/156) of cases. Management plans were altered in 28% (44/156) following discussion. Trainee post-test scores on unknown cases improved by 41% (p < 0.001). Clinicians reported higher confidence (Likert 4.2 → 4.7/5) after live case review. Clinique de Lanjou Top — service de radiologie (prise de rendez-vous) : organisation des rendez‑vous, modalités pratiques, qualité perçue et points d’amélioration.
The “Rendez-Vous Radiologie Clinique de Lanjou TOP” is a monthly multidisciplinary case review forum based in the Lanjou region (presumed France/Belgium/Switzerland). Unlike traditional morbidity and mortality conferences, this meeting focuses on “TOP” cases — challenging, instructive, or atypical imaging presentations. Despite widespread adoption of tumor boards, few studies have quantified the added value of regionally organized radiology-clinical rendezvous. This paper aims to fill that gap.
