In Brazil, Ryukendo was acquired and aired by PlayTV (a now-defunct free-to-air channel) and later on cable networks like Animax Brasil and Loading. The Brazilian Portuguese dubbing was produced by Álamo/Som de Vera Cruz (for PlayTV) and later by other studios for home video releases.

The story takes place in Ayasaki City, where a breach has opened a portal to the “Jamanga” world—a dark dimension of monsters. To combat this threat, the secret organization SHOT (Security Headquarters of Tactical) creates three Armor Keys and three legendary warriors: the fiery Ryukendo, the calm and strategic Jiraiyano, and the powerful, heavy-hitting Sazer (later replaced by Gekiryukendo).
