Is Saw II: Flesh & Blood a masterpiece? No. The combat is stiff, the graphics are dated, and the voice acting outside of Tobin Bell is sometimes wooden. However, it is a time capsule of late-2000s survival horror.

In an era where horror games are either hide-and-seek simulators (Amnesia, Outlast) or action-heavy shooters (Resident Evil 4 Remake), Saw II offers something unique: atmospheric dread combined with ethical horror.
