Shank 2 Change Language May 2026

Start Shank 2. The language should now reflect your change.

For non-Steam versions (GOG, retail CD, or pirated copies where Steam properties aren’t available), you need to edit the game’s configuration files manually. Here is how to change language in Shank 2 using Notepad. Shank 2 Change Language

  • If the line does not exist, add this line under [General] or [Game]:
    Language = en
    
  • Save the file (make sure it doesn’t save as .txt – choose “All Files” in the save dialog).
  • Right-click the saved file > Properties > check Read-only (this prevents the game from overwriting your change).
