If you are looking for a link at the bottom of the window that shows where the current folder is located (a "breadcrumb" trail), you want the Path Bar.
This keyboard shortcut toggles hidden files on and off. When you press it, you should see a change in the visibility of files and folders that were previously hidden.

Now, whenever you navigate to your User folder, you will see the yellow Library folder waiting for you.
Even if the link itself is visible, Finder won’t let you see where it points if the destination is hidden.
