Before ST10, you could not easily edit mesh files (STL, OBJ) from 3D scanners or CAD exports. ST10’s convergent modeling allows you to mix facets, surfaces, and solids in a single feature tree. For student projects involving reverse engineering or 3D printing, this is a lifesaver.
During installation:
Solution: ST10 has trouble with modern GPU drivers. Roll back to an older driver or disable “Hardware Acceleration” under View → Styles → Edge Display Options. Solid Edge St10 Download Student
Cause: You downloaded a trial version, not the academic version.
