Sonarr Nyaa Indexer -

Nyaa uses specific category IDs that map directly to Sonarr’s internal flags:

You can filter these in Sonarr to avoid downloading Chinese or Korean subtitled versions accidentally.

  • API Key – Leave blank (not required for Nyaa).
  • Base URL – Default is https://nyaa.si (or use https://nyaa.iss.one / https://nyaa.iss.ink if the main domain is blocked).
  • Minimum Seeders – Set to 1 or 2 to avoid dead torrents (increase if you want higher quality).
  • Click Test → Should show green success.
  • Save.

    • You can add Nyaa directly without extra software, but this is limited. You will not get search functionality (Sonarr can only see new items posted to the RSS feed; it cannot look back for old episodes). sonarr nyaa indexer

    Why Method A is better: It allows Sonarr to perform Searches (Manual and Automatic) for specific episodes, rather than just waiting for them to appear in a feed.
