For newcomers:
If you can get the complete NSP/update/DLC bundle (or the physical “Plus” version – which doesn’t exist for Switch, but the DLC is free), it’s a decent 7/10 experience. Not as good as Generations or Mania, but fun in short bursts.
For completionists:
Yes – the DLC fills out the Custom Hero closet and gives you a few extra hours with Shadow. Super Sonic is satisfying to unlock (or have pre-unlocked in the NSP).
For performance snobs:
No – the Switch version is the worst way to play. Get it on PC or PS4 for 60 FPS and higher resolution. The “extra quality” here only means “stable, not broken.”
