For the Android exclusive version, you must use the Amazon Appstore rather than Google Play. Amazon still serves the 32-bit compatibility version for Fire tablets. Issue: "I downloaded the compatibility version, but my save is gone!"
Fix: The compatibility version saves to a different folder (%AppData%\StardewValleyCompatibility) to prevent corruption of your main saves. Copy your old saves from the standard folder into the compatibility folder.
Issue: "My SMAPI mods say they are incompatible."
Fix: You must download the SMAPI 3.18.0 Compatibility Build (not the main SMAPI installer). Run the compatibility-installer.bat file instead of the main one. Note: This is the official "exclusive" version because
Valve allows developers to host old builds. This is the safest "exclusive" access.
If you played on a PS Vita or an original iPad, your save file is encoded in an older JSON format. Opening it in 1.6 corrupts the data. You need the exclusive intermediate version (1.4 or 1.5) to bridge the save.
