Have an automated reload task that attempts to open each QVW in the system at 3 AM. If it fails, generate an alert.
If you are accessing the document via the AccessPoint (web browser) using the AJAX or IE Plugin client, the failure is often network-related.
How to troubleshoot:
Most common fix: Grant the QlikView Service account modify permissions (or at minimum full read/list) on the root source folder (not just the file). Then, restart the QlikView Distribution Service.
If the QVW is completely corrupted and won't open even in Desktop, you have to rebuild it.
