The journey is perilous. They are chased by Odoacer’s ruthless henchman, Wulfila, and his army. Along the way, the group faces betrayals and battles, but Aurelius and Mira form a strong bond as they protect the boy king.

7. The Ending (The Twist) With the battle won, Romulus realizes that the Roman Empire as a political entity is dead. He decides not to rebuild Rome, but to start a new life in Britannia. Ambrosinus reveals his true name is Merlin. The young Romulus eventually becomes a leader in Britain, and the film ends by implying that he is the grandfather of the legendary King Arthur, connecting the fall of Rome to the rise of Camelot. The Hindi dubbed version actually improves the campy
Separating the hype from the piracy, is The Last Legion actually a good film? Critically, it received mixed reviews (19% on Rotten Tomatoes). Historically, it is a disaster—mashing together characters from centuries apart.
However, as a guilty pleasure fantasy, it works brilliantly.
The Hindi dubbed version actually improves the campy factor. The voice actors for Ambrosinus and Aurelian add a dramatic timbre reminiscent of Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama dubs, making the cheesy dialogue feel epic.
