You play as Seraphiel (name changeable), a high-ranking angel in the Celestial Order. Ordered into a political marriage with a particularly rigid archangel to unite two fractious heavenly houses, Seraphiel does the unthinkable the night before the ceremony: she tears off her white-and-gold regalia, steals a forbidden grimoire, and escapes to the mortal realm through a frayed rift above a sleepy town called Cinder Creek. The twist? The fall damages her divine essence. Now half-fallen and magically bound to complete three “earthly weddings” (for humans, secretly tied to celestial contracts) before her own heavenly wedding ceremony can be annulled. Each successful earthly wedding she arranges weakens the binding chain to her original fiancé. But each wedding also forces her to confront her own fears of intimacy, power, and consent — themes the game handles with surprising nuance for an alpha build.
v0.4 Alpha specifically adds the second major wedding scenario (the “Rival Blacksmiths' Union”) and expands the romance routes for two new mortal characters: a cynical wedding photographer and a sweet-but-troubled florist.
