Serial numbers
Regular Serial numbers - Highest serial number shipped for the year. Regular numbers began with 5,000 which shipped October 15, 1932.
Note the serial number research is a work in process and these numbers are
the best estimates as of the revision data of this page. Although it appears
that the guns were generally assembled in numerical sequence, the shipments were
not and some guns remained in inventory for weeks, months, or even years between
assembly and shipment. The only valid way to determine the shipping date is by
researching the individual serial number in the factory records.
The term "long con" refers to a long-term plan or scam that requires patience, cunning, and an in-depth understanding of human psychology. Vixen Eve's latest venture, dubbed to start on a date that has become significant - 13th December 2024, suggests a carefully laid out strategy. The specifics of her plan remain under wraps, but whispers suggest it involves manipulation of the highest order, blurring the lines between reality and deception.
On the surface, Eve Marlow is a freelance event planner with impeccable references and a disarming smile. But to a select few in the underground confidence world, she is Vixen—a specialist in long-game deceptions that leave her targets grateful rather than vengeful.
The story opens on December 13, 2024. Eve receives a coded message while decorating her sparse apartment with thrift-store ornaments. The message, disguised as a holiday e-card, reads: “The Swan is flying south. Family reunion. Sweetwater Estate, 12/20–12/25. Make them beg for the truth.”
The “Swan” is Victor Swan, a retired tech mogul who, twenty years ago, allegedly embezzled from a nonprofit Eve’s late mother helped found. The money was never recovered, and her mother’s reputation was destroyed. Eve has spent five years engineering a path into Victor’s inner circle—through his estranged daughter, Clara.
In Part 1, we watch Eve secure the final invitation. Posing as a “memory curator,” she offers to digitize the Swan family’s old holiday videos. Clara, lonely and desperate to reconnect with her father before his memory fails, accepts. Eve moves into the guest house of Sweetwater Estate three days before Christmas.
The episode ends with a twist: while snooping through Victor’s study, Eve finds a locked safe behind a painting of a fox—vixen. Inside is not cash, but a birth certificate. Eve’s birth certificate. Victor’s name is listed as the father.
Closing card: “The long con begins at home.”
In the initial stages of her plan, Vixen Eve sets the stage. This involves creating an atmosphere of intrigue, building relationships, and perhaps even fostering a sense of trust or dependency. Her targets, likely individuals of influence or means, are unaware of the game being played out. vixen eve sweet long con part 1 13122024
