The story moves away from the West Virginia woods of the first film to a remote area of West Virginia.
A reality TV show called The Ultimate Survivalist: Apocalypse Edition is filming a six-day survival challenge. Six contestants—including a former military man, a punk rocker, a yuppie couple, and a goth girl—must outlast each other in the wilderness.
Unbeknownst to them, the show’s filming location is the hunting ground of a family of cannibalistic, inbred mutants led by Pa (a massive, terrifying hillbilly). The mutants begin killing the contestants one by one, filming their own "reality show" of murder. The plot becomes a brutal game of cat-and-mouse as the survivors realize they are not fighting nature, but a family of deformed killers.
Key difference from Wrong Turn 1: The mutants are more expressive, talk (grunt/scream) more, and have a twisted sense of family and dark humor.
A new Hindi dubbing means clearer audio, better voice acting synchronization, and culturally relevant dialogues.
