  • Install Zadig (Open-source USB driver utility). This method installs ISE directly onto your Windows 11 drive

  • Connect your Xilinx USB programmer.

  • Open Zadig: Options > List All Devices.

  • Configure iMPACT: Launch impact.exe. Go to Output > Cable Setup. It should now detect the cable.

    • Important: You must re-disable driver signature enforcement after every Windows 11 update. Install Zadig (Open-source USB driver utility)
