Yfs201 Proteus — Library

Copy the downloaded YFS201.LIB and YFS201.IDX files into the LIBRARY folder.

Instead of looking for a flow sensor part, use a Digital Clock or a Pulse Source.

  • Write your code to count pulses (using an interrupt). When you change the clock frequency in Proteus, your LCD display should change the flow rate.
  • If you have downloaded the library files, follow these steps to integrate them into your Proteus software. yfs201 proteus library

    | Parameter | Value | |-----------|-------| | Operating Voltage | 5V to 24V DC | | Current Consumption | ≤ 15 mA | | Flow Rate Range | 1 – 30 L/min | | Pulse Frequency | F = (7.5 * Q) ± 3% (Q in L/min) | | Output Signal | Square wave (Hall effect) | | Connection | 3-pin (Red: VCC, Black: GND, Yellow: Signal) |

For power users, Proteus + YFS201 library can be integrated with: Copy the downloaded YFS201

    Example advanced simulation scenario:

Proteus ships with generic models (resistors, capacitors, LEDs, and basic MCUs). Specific breakout boards like the YFS201 are community-contributed components. Therefore, searching for "YFS201" in the Proteus Pick Devices window (P button) will initially yield zero results. Write your code to count pulses (using an interrupt)

You must manually download and install a third-party library.

Let’s simulate a real project: Measuring water flow and displaying it on an LCD.
