Opening the ZKTeco UA300 voids your warranty if the seal is broken. Do this only if you own the device or have permission from your company’s IT department.

Step 1: Power Down Unplug the 12V DC power adapter and disconnect the Ethernet cable.
Step 2: Open the Casing Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws on the back plate of the UA300. Gently separate the front panel (with the screen) from the back panel (with the mounting holes). Do not yank – there is a ribbon cable connecting the two halves. zkteco ua300 factory reset
Step 3: Locate the Reset Pins On the main circuit board (the green PCB), look for a set of two small gold pins labeled J3, RESET, or FACT. They are usually located near the CPU (a large square chip) or next to the backup battery (a coin cell). In many UA300 revisions, these pins are just behind the Ethernet port.
