Welcome to the first step of an unforgettable adventure.
Synopsis
When a mysterious storm engulfs the bustling port city of Harborview, a handful of strangers find themselves washed ashore on an uncharted island that seems to exist outside of time. The island is a lush, untamed wilderness where the laws of nature bend in strange ways—glowing flora, whispering winds, and ancient ruins that hint at a forgotten civilization.
Each survivor brings a unique skill set and a hidden past:
As night falls, the group discovers that the island is not just a place, but a living puzzle. Strange symbols etched into stone, a rhythm in the tides, and a faint, haunting melody that seems to guide them toward a hidden heart of the island—a place rumored to hold the key to their return… or something far more profound.

Islands are defined by edges. The shoreline is not a line; it is a membrane. It is where the solid argues with the liquid. Where the known (land) touches the unknowable (sea).
In this first issue, we meditate on the philosophy of the boundary.
How many boundaries have you drawn around yourself? How many have been drawn for you? LS Island exists to dissolve the false ones. Here, there is no distinction between high art and low art. We dedicate this issue to the Intertidal Creatures of the soul. Those thoughts that can live in two elements: the oxygen of daylight logic and the brine of the subconscious. You have been taught to choose. The island teaches you to be amphibious.
In the center of the island stands the lighthouse. Unlike most lighthouses, which warn you away from danger, this one warns you toward it. Its beam does not rotate to keep ships at bay; it pulses inward, scanning the interior of the island for pockets of forgotten wonder.
In LS Island Issue 01, we turn on the light for the first time.
The beam illuminates three things today:
